EL YUNQUE RAINFOREST WATERFALL PUERTO RICO

El yunque rainforest waterfall and pool in the Luquillo Mountains of Eastern Puerto Rico

 

This lovely little waterfall is one of a series of 3, one above the other, located off rd # 191 on the way up the mountain. Great walking trails into the rainforest from various spots along road #191. Ferns and epiphytes cling to every available growing space imginable. With this much rain they don't need much soil.

Videos below were taken going road # 191 on the north side of the rainforest, stopping at various locations. John Druitt ( 'Rubio' ) is a licensed forest tour operator who offers private excursions with transportation.
