Rain Forest Villa is a quiet retreat bordering the El Yunque semi-tropical
rain forest. Stay in one of our romantic villas. There are several
ways to rent it, the entire Villa ( 3 bedrooms) or the larger area
( two bedrooms with living area) or just the one bedroom. - Explore
our tropical gardens, be lulled to sleep by the melodic serenade
of the tiny coqui's, indigenous to Puerto Rico. Retreating up into
the hills each afternoon, after a hot day at the beach, is a delightful
way to experience Puerto Rico.

Room in the two bedroom Villa
You won’t need much in the way of clothing - old casual wear is best, except when visiting the cities or hotels. The temperature in the forest is at least 10 degrees cooler than at sea level, we have the trade wind breezes most of the time. Bring your hiking shoes. With the forest at your doorstep - you might want to venture out - either taking a stroll through our exotic tropical gardens or hiking up to our local waterfall. Most of the trails for the National Forest are further up on Road 191. You can spend days hiking and exploring the forest. Visit the El Portal Tourist Center and see their 10 minute film about the forest. Visit their souvenir shop - great selection of books about our forest friends, ask for a trail map too.
Upper left is the one room. Above right is the master bedroom in the two bedroom villa. The 2 bedroom villa has 1 king size bed and full bath, second bedroom has double bed with bunk bed and half bath. Large living room with 2 comfortable sofas and chairs. Kitchen is designed for tropical living. It is located outside on porch. It is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, table and bar and also has hammocks for relaxation - along with a fabulous view of the ocean and mountains. The whole house can be rented or just one room ( seperate room outside, with separate entrance.) Sorry,
No Children under 6 years old. We are not far from the Fajardo Bioluminescent Bay, we have great kayaking and snorkeling too. If you like the beach, Luquillo Beach is only 15 minutes away and one of the nicest on this side of the island. After the beach, you can stop at a waterfall near the house, rinse and cool off. Then come home to your hide away and relax. .....So leave that city life behind. Come relax and enjoy how the other half lives.
