Water
so clear and clean, several reefs to snorkel on, shade provided by bushes
and coconut trees! The reefs between Icacos Cay and the reefs around
the protruding rock called 'Cucaracha' are the better snorkeling. The
reef off the beach is pretty nice too and easier for the less experienced
snorkeler. The North side or Windward side of Icacos is lined with lava
rock and fascinating to walk upon (with shoes on) there are several
blow holes too. Icacos used to be mined for limestone, the old quarry
is still there.
