The Flamboyans are blooming a little early this year. Very beautiful , they are commonly orange but occasionally yellow. The yellow Flamboyans are more delicate and need the drier side of Puerto Rico to really flourish.

A drive along the south coast of Puerto Rico in the summer can be quite spectacular, with the flowers everywhere! but just before hurricane season ( by the end of July) they are pretty much finished blooming for the year.
